It need the good to balance out the bad in hopes of keeping the peace. Two

that could make its own path in life. When she conceived she forced the
boy's life force into another Carer to raise as her own. Melinski did just
that teaching Talkar everything he would need to Survive.
It was kept from the Council that Talkar was Lisa's child as Leila was born
as the godChild. Talkar was going to be known as the Demonchild, and the two

come together in hopes of defeating the fear-eater trying to take over and
disrupt the balance of Shayton.

night stand results in a new breed of child. A hybrid. What can this mean
for Shayton? The betrayer still lives after Talkar and Lisa defeated the
evil one, but will Talkar make it out alive?
Ms. Fainges fantasy e-book The Shayton Chronicles Book One, Destiny Sets is
a story filled with everything from bats, wolves, different worlds and much
much more. There is even a touch of love for all those out there that crave
that in a fantasy story. I think this was a well written tale, that makes me
wonder what is going to happen in book two...keeping the reader wanting more
is what a great author is all about. 4 Hearts

Antonio Welshire just sixteen years of age, has committed more crime than
imaginable. Slaughtering his abusive father, and knocking his mother out and
leaving her to freeze to death in the winter outside was just the beginning.
That was not the last murder Antonio committed, his Uncle who graciously
took in him and his two adopted sisters met his demise along with Antonio's
cousin Gaston. Antonio raped his cousin Romania, impregnating her; lucky for
her she died in childbirth. But the child that was just born was snatched
away and hidden, not to be found.
Young Gaston was the leader of the army threatening to over throw Antonio's
royalties. He had no father that he knew of, only he did have a father; the
man he was planning to kill. Pairing up with one of Antonio's daughters,
Victoria could only assist in his take over. When Victoria returned to
Gaston bearing the gift she received on her twenty-first birthday, he
accepted the gift as Victoria saw fit to share it with him. Making him
capable of the "dark tricks."
On the twenty-first birthday of all of Gaston's children brought into this
world by both of his adopted sisters, Antonio's old friend Mestiphles shared
immortality with all of them. In the future each child born to any of them
would be vampires, they each also wielded the power to make more of their
kind at will.
What will happen when Gaston and his new army of vampires storm the castle?
When a vampire's life force drifts from its body and escapes into another,
does that make the receiving vampire more powerful or will it haunt him
forever? This story is all not blood and gore remind you, it ends with a
wedding....mortal or immortal? You shall see
Kristin Battestella's novel The Vampire Family is exciting, bloody, and a
has a little touch of romance. The story has an aura about it that
captivates the reader, I did not want this story to end but found myself
dying to know what would happen next. In my opinion the story needs to go
through edits with a fine toothed comb one more time, there were typo's and
a few other small mistakes that with correction and polishing would make
this novel more close to perfection.
Ms. Battestella has the skill it takes to write a tale catering to most
everyone's needs. I would recommend this book to horror lovers and romance
lovers alike. 4 Hearts

Sarah had no idea what it would be like to see her ex-boyfriend Daniel for
the first time in five years. Being at the airport was hard enough, with
everyone so happy waiting to embrace their soldier in open arms. Sarah had
no soldier to welcome home, her brother Tommy died while fighting in
Operation Iraqi Freedom three years ago. Ever since then she has frowned
upon the soldiers, because nothing would bring her brother back; anger was
all she could feel.
Daniel was angry at his father for being a coward and having put Sarah in
the predicament of bringing him back home. Father and son have not spoken
for many years because of Daniel's choice to enter The Guards. But there was
a reason George refused to talk to Daniel, he knew the kind of effect war
could have on a person, he wanted to spare his son the grief.
Sarah knew there must be a way to get Hollenbeck's talking again, and she
tried everything in her power. They were both too stubborn. Sarah's feelings
for Daniel rushed back the moment his lips brushed hers, and it seemed he
never fell out of the love he had for her after all this time. Sarah has
been too hurt by Daniel, is there anyway she can open her heart up to him
again and let all the anger toward The Guard drift away? Nothing will bring
her brother back, but being with Daniel could help her let go.
Donna Michael's' novella Thanks For Giving is a refreshing romance that will
positively give you goosebumps. The love between each and every character
warms the readers heart, and proves that an old flame can reignite. I had a
bit of an odd reaction to one part of the story, where Daniel proposes to
Sarah, they have been separated for five years and only back together for a
week. With all the feelings Sarah was feeling, I think it may have been too
soon for such a big commitment.
The rest of the novella was very well written and not overly detailed, you
could actually relate with Sarah, Daniel and George. I think this would be a
fantastic read for Thanksgiving coming up, because the soldiers have risked
their lives for us, and we should honor and Thank them any way possible. 4

Madison Bellini did not truly want to marry Edward Theodore Von Housen
III, but it seemed she was being forced into it by everyone except her
best friend. It was no secret that "Teddy" was no stranger to women, he
even had another woman at his bachelor party. The thought of him made
her nauseous, it was something her father said, that made her realize
this wedding was not going to happen. She told Teddy, in front of all
their family and the press, that he could have the other woman and hiked
up her ten thousand dollar dress baring her well worn cowboy boots and
high tailed it out of the church and across the border.
She sought out to meet the man that ruined her future. She had no idea
that he was a breath taking cowboy. He was made for sex and she wanted
him, and he wanted her just as bad. In her anger she had an accident,
she drove off of the covered bridge, and luckily Ty Kirkland was there
to rescue her from drowning. She kept muttering about marrying a cowboy
and Ty used that to his advantage. When she woke momentarily, he
realized she had lost her memory so he told her she was his fiancee in
hopes of getting the contract with Madison's father that would change
his families lives.
Madison didn't loose her memory but she thought she would play along
with Ty's games, his family welcomed her with open arms and she actually
began falling in love with Ty. Ty did not know Madison had her memory
back so he went along with everything he had planned, except for giving
away his heart.
The Bellini family and Teddy came to collect their daughter and fiancee
from the Kirkland's and were they in for a rude awaking. Madison was
staying with Ty. Only a crazed maniac could drag her away...and even
that would not keep them apart. Can the two over come the web of lies
each one has woven? Or will something more pressing, like the truth keep
the two apart?
JT Schultz masterfully writes a humorous erotic romance novel that will
have you laughing at one moment and biting on your nails the next. The
erotic lovemaking scenes brought a whole new perspective to this already
intriguing tale. The story line was fabulous, and the love from the
Kirkland family was so real.
The Bride Wore Boots by JT Schultz is a must read. I loved the passion
her characters wielded as well as the love that was put into this story
by Ms. Schults. 5 Hearts all the way!

Laird Ian MacKay, Earl of Greanfrea just got news that he did not really
want to hear. His stepfather passed away leaving him a fortune that
could help him with the tenants housing as well as other needs. There
was a stipulation or two of course. Ian must marry within a year, it is
not only to be a paper marriage, and his wife must be English. So Ian
knew he must find someone to wed and quickly. He never intended to find
love, or fall into love more like it.
Lady Annabelle scoffed at Ian's reasons for wanting to marry her. He
wanted a non-beauty, spinster woman that would jump at the prospect of
marrying an Earl. It seemed each time they spoke he ended up offending
her in every way possible. But Annabelle was no weak spinster, she
always let Ian know when he upset her. She began growing fond of the
Earl but when he was spotted in the company of Miss Caruthers, jealousy
ran deep in her veins.
Ian made it known to Annabelle that she would be his wife, whether she
liked it or not. No matter how many times she refused, Ian would never
give up. But what is going to happen when greedy William tries using
blackmail to get Annabelle to marry him so that he can settle his debts?
Is there any hope that Anabelle will marry the man she so stubbornly
refuses to admit she loves? And what of Ian when he finds out that
Annabelle is more richly endowed than he could ever dream?
Annabelle's Chance is a lovely historical romance based in Scotland and
in London, England around the early 1800's. Lucy Monroe's strong
characters and attention to Ian's Scottish dialect held me captive as I
read this enchanting love story. There were a few twists in this novel
that I did not see coming, but they added much excitement and adventure
to an already entertaining tale. I look forward to reading more of Ms.
Monroe's tantalizing historicals. 5 Hearts
